The Safe I accreditation ensures that the hospital carries out procedures to prevent infection from patient to patient, staff to patient and patient to staff. It also ensures that injections, surgery, dressing procedures etc are carried out in the best manner possible to minimize risk as far as possible.

To achieve this we have initiated extensive improvements in sterile supplies and theatre hygiene and air conditioning. All member of staff have been trained in infection control practises. Kitchen and cleaning staff are screened regularly for presence of infections diseases. Laboratory procedures have been improved.
